How It Works

WordZap uses a clever algorithm called alphabetical sorting:

1. We take every word in our dictionary and sort its letters alphabetically (e.g., "apple" becomes "aelpp").
2. When you enter your letters, we sort them the same way (e.g., "aelpp").
3. We instantly match all words that have the exact same sorted letters.

This means results appear in milliseconds, even with dictionaries containing hundreds of thousands of words.
